Community Art Projects

Experience as a youth support worker, including in residential care, experience with young people and adults affected by disadvantage, mental health issues, disabilities and trauma affected behaviour, lived experience of caring with people affected by mental heath issues. 

Illustrator in the educational publishing field since 1989, exhibiting artist in venues and galleries on the south coast, Wollongong, Canberra and Sydney since 1999.

Experience in gallery administration, liaison with artists and art loving public, marketing, design, curation, installation, small group and conference facilitation (including business groups), organising workshops, art markets.

2010-2016 Engagement artist, designing and facilitating various projects with parent and community engagement and mediation contracts in NT remote indigenous communities, including producing published material; books and posters with school children and booklets with the Warlpiri mediation group.

20+ years experience on the south coast with Youth Services, Ulladulla Youth Centre, Chic Camp with Willow Tree Training, collaborations with schools, local Council Community Development, South Coast Young Leader groups, DCJ and Community groups 

Experienced in teaching children and adults about horses and riding since 1989, certifications in one on one rider training, trail ride leader and also (pictured) in the Emmett method of healing.
